"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" Comes to FoxHound Stage 

Come support Foxcroft's performing arts at this year's spring production — ‍Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s multi-award-winning show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performances will be on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, in FoxHound Auditorium (7:30pm curtain both nights) as part of our Arts Week.  Admission is free, but please RSVP, as space is limited.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is one of the most enduring shows of all time and reimagines the biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors. It has become one of the world’s most beloved family musicals, performed hundreds of thousands of times, including multiple runs in the West End and on Broadway, and international tours in more than 80 countries worldwide. The production features much-loved pop and musical theater classics, including “Any Dream Will Do,” “Close Every Door,” “There’s One More Angel In Heaven,” and “Go, Go, Go Joseph.”

Senior Moriah F. stars as Joseph opposite Senior Ava B.’s Narrator. Joseph’s eleven jealous brothers are played by Anna C. ’25, Manabi K. ’25, Elle P. ’25, Irene M-D. ’25, Katarina S. ’26, Wren E. ’26, Maddie B. ’26, Elise L. ’26, ZoraNelle B. ’26, Kat G. ’27, and Natasha H. ’27. Sophomore Lauren G. plays Pharoah, Aradeal H. ’26 plays Mrs. Potiphar, and freshmen Poppy M. and Madison R. play a host of supporting characters. Several talented faculty members are in the cast, including Alex Northrup as Jacob and Potiphar, Julie Fisher as The Butler, and Meghen Tuttle as the Baker. 

The technical crew consists entirely of students led by Manabi K. ’25 (Assistant Technical Director), Juliana R. ’24 (Assistant to the Director), AnnaMaria C. ’25 (Makeup Designer), Aradeal H. ’26 (Costume Designer), and Lauren G. ’26 (Stage Manager). The crew includes Elise R. ’25, Andy J. ’24, Mia D. ’26, Shelby Y. ’26, Emili R. ’24, and Josephine K. ’27.

Karin Thorndike of Foxcroft’s Fine Art Department directs the production. She teaches theater and art and is Foxcroft's beloved Christmas Pageant's longtime (26 years and counting) director. The Musical Director is Sonny Cappaccio (Music and mathematics teacher), and the accompanist is Jeremiah Hines.
