Athletics, scholarship, and expert advice = intercollegiate competition
Each year, our graduates go on to play sports in college! Some have earned athletic scholarships at NCAA Division I schools, and many more play at Division III colleges. Foxcroft’s College Counselors and Athletic Department will work with you as you navigate the recruiting process to find the best fit both athletically, academically, and socially. And we will all cheer you on!

  • Meredith Dish Harris ’10

    Lacrosse
    University of Denver

    Foxcroft: Second-leading scorer in school history; twice named First Team All-DAC, 2009, 2010

    College: Led the team in goals (58) her senior year and made First Team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Sophomore year: Earned starting status and emerged as one of team’s leading scorers. Freshman: Played in 11 of 16 games, scoring three goals and adding one assist.

    College: Named Player of the Year USA South Atlantic Conference (2012) and achieved Third Team All-America honors; set single-game school record for most goals in a game (10, 2012); selected to First Team USA South Atlantic Conference regular season team and tournament team (2011); finished her career as the school’s all-time leading goal scorer (247).

    College: A four-year letter-winner; named to third team All-ODAC, 2012.

    Foxcroft: Graduated Cum Laude and was a starter at midfield for the soccer team. 

    College: Member of the Massachusetts Squash Club; made squash team as a sophomore and won her first match as a junior.

    Gettysburg College

    Foxcroft: Named to All-Independent School League First Team in field hockey (2006) and lacrosse (2007); received Honorable Mention All-Met from the Washington Post in both sports.

    College: A goalkeeper, she made both the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams, a rare feat for a college athlete.

    Foxcroft: First to record 50 goals in a season, 2005; Loudoun County Player of the Year, 2005; Washington Post All-Met selection, 2005.

    College: Injuries hampered her college career but she was praised by coaches for her stick work and conditioning.
