  • Rock Climbing's Cate W. ’23 is Athlete of the Week!

"Cate is a new climber but has picked up climbing remarkably fast and become a leader on the team," shared Coach Emma Cesar. "She has recorded the most time hanging on the hang board and has stayed after nearly every practice to get more reps in. This practice has paid off, as she has PR'd at every competition. She scored a 14 at her first meet and, this past Tuesday, scored 22 points, which put her toward the top of the leaderboard. Even though it is her first year, she takes this sport and doing well as a whole team incredibly seriously. It's been a pleasure watching her gain skill, confidence, and grace in the gym. We're lucky to have Cate as a role model on the team!"

    Way to go, Cate!

Special Programs

List of 2 items.

  • Exceptional Proficiency Program

Foxcroft honors our students’ talents by allowing girls who possess special ability to work with a master teacher or trainer to miss some academic obligations in order to pursue that discipline. Although exemptions have been granted to dancers, divers, and other gifted athletes over the years, the program was established for (and is most often used by) talented riders who wish to train and compete in Florida in the winter. Students must apply to the Academic Dean to participate and are held to the highest standards of educational commitment.

  • External Athletic Credit

On rare occasions, a student with a passion for a sport or activity that Foxcroft does not offer may earn athletic credit for their off-campus endeavor. The activity must meet certain guidelines for training time, supervision, and competition, and be approved by the Athletic Director and Assistant Head of School.
