Established during Foxcroft’s centennial in 2014, the Sports Hall of Fame honors athletes, coaches, teams, and “pioneers” who have demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess and/or had a meaningful impact on the world of sports, and exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and character.
“Pioneers” must have made outstanding contributions to the interscholastic athletic programs at the boarding school for girls before 1972. Athletes, coaches, and teams become eligible 10 years after graduating or ceasing to be employed by Foxcroft.
All are welcome to make nominations to the Selection Committee, which votes in late Fall. Results are announced in February and the induction ceremony is held during Reunion Weekend, in April.
