New Date for On-Campus Learning
I appreciate the news about Foxcroft’s decision to delay our on-campus start until October 3 was a disappointment to our students and caused families to have to rearrange their plans. We are also reviewing our initial plans in light of this change. Here is what we are doing:
We are continuing to monitor positivity rates in our area and are hopeful that with schools and colleges starting around the country, and with families cutting back on travel and getting back to a more routine schedule, we will see a flattening of the curve. Let’s all continue to do our part together.

- Foxcroft is working to secure quicker turn-around times for our PCR nasal tests, which are more accurate than rapid testing, looking into additional testing sources, and are revising our testing protocols and schedules. Thanks to many of you for sending information to us.
- We are revising our original return-to-campus plan in light of the extended date of October 3 and potential changes in testing, and we will communicate details of the new self-quarantining period and return schedule as soon as possible.
- School starts on August 26 and classes on August 27 online — read more about our Flex Learning Plan from Assistant Head of School Courtney Ulmer. Our faculty are looking forward to getting to know their new students and to starting engaging lessons, student life programming, sports, and dorm life. This routine will very much help all of us feel more grounded and purposeful.
