TCS Press Proves Potent

Foxcroft's young team had trouble with Trinity Christian's full court press and got outscored 32-12 in the second half to fall to the Gryphons, 47-17, in Engelhard gym.Coach Peachie Robinson played three freshman and a sophomore among her five starters and they had trouble bringing the ball up court against Trinity's quick and aggressive press.Playing without two of its normal starters, Foxcroft trailed only 15-5 at halftime, but TCS kept the pressure on for the entire second half and outscored Foxcroft 32-12 in the final two quarters to pull away. Junior Allie M. led Foxcroft with six points and eight rebounds while sophomore McKenna O. added five steals.
