Middleburg Academy Takes Varsity Title at Think Pink Tournament

Led by Jade R. and Skye B., Middleburg Academy powered past both Foxcroft School and Randolph-Macon Academy Saturday to win the Varsity Division of Foxcroft’s 10th annual Think Pink Basketball Tournament. Foxcroft lost to both Middleburg and RMA — who they had beaten by a point on Thursday — to end up 0-2, while RMA finished at 1-1.
Jade scored 27 points for the Dragons, including 14 in a 44-17 tournament opening victory over Foxcroft. She contributed another 13 in MA’s 57-23 defeat of RMA. Skye added 12 and 11 points, respectively, in the two games and Lexiey M. scored 18 total  for Middleburg.

Freshman Elizabeth S. led Foxcroft with 8 points and 7 rebounds against Middleburg and 4 points 10 rebounds against RMA. Her twin, Adair, had four points and 7 rebounds in that game.
