Foxcroft vs. Fredericksburg Academy

Foxcroft comes up with big conference win against Fredericksburg Academy.
Foxcroft only had one day of rest after their tough loss against Virginia Academy to rebound against a conference opponent. The team came out with energy and enthusiasm and pounced on the Falcons. Foxcroft was able to score 5 goals in the first twenty minutes in an impressive offensive showcase. For the remainder of the game, the players played out of their usual positions to get more experience on the field. Despite these changes the team was still able to pot another four goals over the remainder of the game.

The offensive explosion was highlighted by Ava Rudy who scored a hat trick before the game was even 20 minutes old. Another strong performance was put in by Bracha Warui who had three assists and also scored a goal of her own. Five other Foxcroft players scored a goal: Lily McCrehin, Emilia Gropper, Sarah Ford, Maddie Kaplan, and Kyla Peterson.

The lone FA goal came on a kickoff after we scored our ninth goal of the game.

Foxcroft returns to the field on short rest as they take on another conference opponent, Tandem Friends, on Friday.
