Foxcroft Runners Achieve Personal Records at Quantico Invitational

Foxcroft faced off against GPAC teams, as well as Christ Chapel Academy and the New Community School. Our top finisher was (once again!) Gwen E. '26, coming in 11th overall. Many athletes made incredible progress following Saturday's meet against St. James. Maddie R. '27 and Sandra R. '25 improved their times by about 2 minutes, Fiona J. '27 improved her time by an impressive 10 minutes! Although this meet does not count toward our overall GPAC record, I'm so impressed by the team's commitment to go out and work hard regardless. They really tested themselves and worked toward a better understanding of the sport. Thanks so much to the folks who came out and supported the team. Special thanks to Maddie B. '26's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. for providing refreshments for the team. The girls (and coaches) were so grateful! I look forward to our meet next Tuesday at Darden Towe park, hosted by Tandem Friends School!
