Foxcroft Troupe of International Thespian Society Inducts Five Students

Last week, five students were inducted into the Foxcroft Troupe of the International Thespian Society (ITS). Those new members are Caelyn L. ’23, Emmy Q. ’24, Manabi K. ’25, AM C. ’25, and Lauren G. ’26. Troupe President Heidi D. ’23 also recognized fellow ITS member Katelyn S. ’24 as an Honor Thespian who has accrued over 600 hours (60 thespian points) of quality work in theater.
Established in 1929, the International Thespian Society (ITS) is one of the highest honors a theater student can achieve. To earn induction into ITS, a student must complete more than 100 hours of excellent work in the theater. They must also uphold a strong overall academic standing and show a true appreciation and passion for theater. An organization dedicated to service and integrity, members of ITS join a group that includes not only accomplished actors but people who have distinguished themselves in business, science, law, medicine, and every other field of endeavor.

Director Karin Thorndike, and officers Heidi D., Johanna B. ’23, Kuiper S. ’23, Juliana R. ‘24, and Katelyn S. make up the executive body of Foxcroft’s Troupe.
