A nail biter!

Maria-Esther Sanchez
Good effort from both teams.
Friday, Foxcroft went to Quantico, their third game of the week. The day before, five of the players who came had played the 3 entire sets against Fresta Valley Christian School. A few of our players were sick and could not play, and the rest of the team was tired. However, this didn't prevent the Foxcroft team to give their best and work tirelessly throughout the game. It truly showed their character. We also brought along Brianna M., from JV, who played in two sets and was of great help when we needed her to step in. Everyone in the team did a fabulous job. However, the 12 aces that each, Jess W. and Gracen K., accomplished were a great boost for the team. Gracen K. in particular, stood out, not only by her aces, but also by her 19 assists and 4 kills. It was a close, tense match till the end, but the Foxcroft players kept heir spirits, enthusiasm, and effort till the end. It was a well deserved win.
