Music is in the Air

Last Thursday, the Foxcroft community gathered in FoxHound Auditorium and was treated to a special musical performance where the talents of our voice, piano, guitar, and violin students filled the air with joyful, melodious music.
Scarlett D. ’21 began the recital on the piano with "Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op 23" by Frederic Chopin. Then Teddy S. ’19 sang "I Didn't Plan It" from Waitress by Sara Bareilles. Mr. Dombrowski accompanied on the piano. Next, Shea H. ’21 played Lindsey Stirling's arrangement of Alan Menken's "Beauty and The Beast Medley" on the violin. Eunice Y. ’21 sang "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas by Alan Menken with a piano accompaniment from Mr. Dombrowski. Matty H. ’19 sang "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, arranged by Pentatonix. Mr. Dombrowski accompanied her on the piano as well. Bridgette E. ’20 was joined by Jennifer C. ’21 on the guitar for "The Only Exception" by Paramore. Seabrook B. ’19 performed "A Summer in Ohio" from Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown. Mr. Dombrowski accompanied her on piano. And finally, Jennifer closed the show with "Csárdás" by Vittorio Monti on the violin while Mr. Dombrowski accompanied on the piano.

Many thanks to Music Coordinator Amy Asbury and piano instructor Eric Dombrowski for their hard work helping our students refine their musical talents!
