Stepping Up and Wagging Tails at the Junior Class Walk

From the Junior Class Walk Officers Sarah E. and Wendy X.

The Class of 2019 would like to thank our wonderful community for attending the annual Junior Class Walk this past Friday, March 23 — we had a great time and hope you did too! Our class chose to support Danny and Ron’s Rescue, an organization founded after Hurricane Katrina to provide support for dogs. Even though we faced adversity in terms of the weather, the Walk turned out to be a huge success.
Many members of the community walk with their dogs, who brought a warm smile to everyone’s face in the chilly weather with joy and laughter filling the air. There was even a Danny and Ron's Rescue dog, Betsy, in attendance at the Walk with her family, Seabrook B. '19, Harriet B. '21, and their mom, Elise. Cooking Club also raised money for Danny and Ron’s by providing us with an assortment of baked goods, some of which were donated by our fabulous faculty and administrators.

Our class is on our way to achieving our goal of $2,000 and donations are always welcome. We feel so lucky to be a part of such a supportive community. Thank you for making our Walk a success!
