Elizabeth Lester 1988 will kick off Career Day 2023

We are pleased to announce that Elizabeth Lester 1988 will kick off Career Day 2023 by delivering a keynote address to students, faculty, and alumnae at Morning Meeting on Friday, April 21, during Reunion Weekend (April 20-22).
A design, architecture, and project management professional with over 20 years of diverse experience in retail, commercial, and residential projects, Elizabeth is currently the Head of Global Store Design and Development at New Balance, one of the world’s foremost sports footwear and apparel manufacturers. Previously, Elizabeth spent almost ten years with Gap Inc., where she worked in several positions, most recently as Director of Creative Services. In this role, she led a team focused on bringing the Athleta brand to life in retail stores, bridging the evolution from its digitally native presence.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has consistently focused on giving back, something instilled in her by her father, who always found time to do something for those in need. She has served on the Board of the Junior League of San Francisco, chaired multiple committees, and was an active member for over 15 years. Elizabeth also served on the Edgewood Auxiliary for the Edgewood Center for Children and Families in San Francisco. She currently serves on the Foxcroft Board of Trustees as the Co-Chair of the Advancement Committee and the Building for Our Future Campaign.

Elizabeth and her husband, Wulff Piotraschke, love to travel and have been fortunate enough to do so extensively for pleasure and with their careers. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky and graduated from Foxcroft in 1988.
