Winter Athletes Celebrated!

Wrapping up another season of Foxcroft athletics, a special ceremony celebrating our winter athletes took place Tuesday during Morning Meeting. The Athletic Association and Athletic Department, together with the Parents’ Association (PA), orchestrated a special event where coaches honored the hardworking members of the basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and riding teams. Athletic Association senior heads Emma L., Caroline C., and Eva C. and junior assistant heads Patty A., Lily M., and Flora W. emceed the event.
During the program, members of the basketball, cheerleading, and rock climbing teams received certificates, varsity athletes got their letters, individual awards were presented, and each coach said a few words about their team’s season. Riding awarded unique seasonal prizes.

The ceremony concluded with delicious donuts provided by the Parents’ Association. Thanks to everyone who made the awards ceremony special, especially the Athletic Association, Athletic Director Michelle Woodruff, and Assistant Athletic Director/Head Athletic Trainer Mairin Wood.
