Parents’ Association

The Foxcroft Parents’ Association Auction & Raffle is our annual fundraiser. Items are donated by parents, faculty, students, and local and national businesses. Proceeds are used to fund a number of activities such as The Foxcroft Circle, student enrichment programs, faculty development and appreciation, student life programs, Wintermission, technology, classes, as well as Fox and Hound activities, among other things.

The new Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Parent Affinity Group was formed to increase awareness and appreciation of the positive cultural identifiers that distinguish us one from another and identify the common ground that binds us. Most importantly it can offer feedback that can inform Foxcroft initiatives, programming, and planning.

Affinity groups are a group of people having a common interest or goal or acting together for a specific purpose. A BIPOC affinity group brings people with shared identities and experiences together to:

• build community and support, 
• identify community challenges and consider an ideal resolution, 
• advocate for change to support the advancement of BIPOC students, 
• share resources and information, and 
• provide training.

Foxcroft is committed to providing an education that is truly excellent for all Foxcroft girls and encourages and supports the vital role affinity groups will play toward this noble goal.

The Parents' Association encourages you to get connected, be involved, have a voice, and help to continue to support and shape the future of our daughters at Foxcroft!

The Parents' Association invites you to become involved in your daughter’s Foxcroft experience by volunteering your time and your talent in a variety of ways. 

Parents who wish to be involved in School Activities can volunteer in a number of capacities, including:

• Auction Activities (acquisitions, set-up, data-entry, communications, raffles)
• Opening Day Welcoming (assisting at the registration desk, calling new parents)
• Faculty Appreciation (refreshments for periodic faculty meetings)
• Student Treats (the PA will surprise prior to exam) 
• Athletics (supporting the teams with snacks, team parties)
• Visual Arts/Performing Arts (assisting with costume closet, make-up, tech week dinners, scenery)
• Parent-to-Parent (liaison with prospective parents to assist admission efforts)
• Donate Tickets (to cultural and/or sporting events for student or faculty use)
• Prom Closet & Pre-Prom Event (refreshments & photo opps)
• Recommend speakers / Share interests or talents

Throughout the year, the Parents’ Association coordinates faculty appreciation activities. The PA provides coffee service in the faculty lounge and prepares refreshments for faculty focus group sessions. In addition, the PA has established a faculty professional development endowment fund, which provides for an amount that can be awarded annually to faculty wishing to attend a professional conference, or other such development activity.

The Parents’ Athletic Association, a part of the PA, fosters community spirit by supporting our sports teams. During competitive seasons, team parents arrange snacks for game days and encourage other parents to come out and cheer on the girls at both home and away games. Their efforts create a vibrant and supportive atmosphere for our athletes. We welcome and encourage all parents to get involved by organizing snacks, cheering on our teams, or helping in other ways. Your participation makes a difference, and we’d love to have you join us in supporting our students and building a strong Foxcroft community!
