Foxcroft Snaps 4-Game Losing Streak

What a difference a day -- and the competition -- makes!

Foxcroft (2-5) played Fredericksburg Academy, another team in a rebuilding mode, and delivered its best performance of the season by scoring a 35-12 victory in Engelhard gym to snap a four-game losing streak.

The Falcons (0-6) were completely stymied by Foxcroft's zone defense and were never in contention. Foxcroft built a 15-7 halftime lead then blew the game open by outscoring FA, 14-2, in the third quarter.

Freshman Adair S. led Foxcroft with a team season-high 10 points while junior Allie M. added eight. Senior Loren S., returning to the team after a lacrosse recruitng visit to Arizona State, had five steals and scored five points.
