Foxcroft IEA Team is Champion Again!

First-place finishes by Kayla L. ’19, Elena B. ’20, Julia C. ’21, and Gigi G. ’22 led the Foxcroft Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Team to its second team championship ribbon in as many shows Saturday in Catlett, VA. 

Competing in the top class, Varsity Open, Kayla took first on the flat and second over fences, while Elena had a first over fences and a fifth on the flat as Foxcroft accumulated 27 points to edge out host Prestige Training Center Team by two points. Gigi earned a blue ribbon in the Junior Varsity Novice Flat competition and Julia picked one up in the JV Beginner Walk/Trot. 

All told, 11 Foxcroft riders collected 20 ribbons under the direction of IEA Team coaches Allie Pelz and Kendall Bear.
