Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer Receive Multiple All-GPAC Honors!

2023 All-GPAC Champion Varsity Lacrosse finished their season ranked #7 in Division II of the VISAA (Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association). Though the team exited the state tournament after a quarterfinal loss, they were excited to receive the following All-GPAC honors:

“We are so proud to have so many players recognized this year with all-conference honors,” declared Coach Moan. “Just a year ago, we celebrated only one win for the season, and this year we were undefeated in the conference for the regular season and hosted and won the conference championship! Our senior trifecta of Lucy, Olivia, and London again led the way for the team, with excellent play from other all-conference selections Flora, Patty, Ava, and Kylie. With this core group returning next year, we're excited for the future of Foxcroft lacrosse!”

Varsity Soccer finishes a winning season (8-4) of hard-fought games, including an intense, nailbiting loss in the GPAC final, with the following All-GPAC recognitions:

"These four players were crucial to our success as a team,” shared Coach Sweeney. “Their passion and enthusiasm to play were infectious, and everyone benefited from having them as teammates. Our strong defense earned six shutouts this season, including three 1-0 victories, which are always difficult to win. We will miss all our seniors but look forward to working with our returners, including a class of freshmen that have already contributed greatly to the team."
