Spring Sports Athletes Celebrated!

The Athletic Association and Athletic Department, together with the Parents’ Association, hosted a wonderful Spring Sports Awards ceremony Monday evening celebrating Foxcroft’s teams and accomplishments. Athletic Association senior heads Molly C., Lucy M., and Olivia W., and junior assistant heads Caroline C., Eva C., and Emma L. emceed the entire evening. After the ceremony, students were treated to tasty desserts organized by Parents’ Association Athletic Coordinators Julie Thomas and Will Cramer (Becca ’23, J ’21).
During the program, members of the lacrosse, soccer, softball, eSports, IEA, and dance teams were presented with certificates, and varsity athletes got their letters. Each coach said a few words about their team’s season, and individual awards were presented, including the rare 12-Sport Athlete Award, given to student-athletes who play a varsity sport each of their 12 seasons at Foxcroft. This year, the award was given to senior Lucy M. (lacrosse, field hockey, basketball). The Athletic Department also recognized Alexa C. ’23 for her help with social media and graphics, and Dance recognized the year-long efforts of Ava B. ’24, Priscilla C. ’26, and Anais P. ’26.

All-conference honors for the Greater Piedmont Athletic Conference (GPAC) were not included as those nominations have not yet been submitted/tallied, so more recognition may be forthcoming!

A complete list of honors follows. Thank you to all who made the evening a grand success, especially Athletic Director Michelle Woodruff, Assistant Athletic Director/Head Athletic Trainer Mairin Wood, and to the Parents’ Association for the delicious desserts.

Congratulations to all of our athletes on a fine season!
