Varsity Tennis' Caroline C. ’24 is Athlete of the Week!
The Varsity Tennis Team coaches selected Caroline C. ’24 as Athlete of the Week!
In this past Tuesday's match versus Wakefield, Caroline won in the #3 singles position without losing any games and ending with a score of 8-0. She played up into the #2 position on Thursday versus Randolph-Macon Academy due to an injury fill-in need in the lineup. After a tough loss in the #1 doubles match, Caroline rebounded in the #2 singles position to play through a very long and tough “last on” / “last off” match to win overall in the 17th game with a Tiebreaker finish score of 7-5.
"Caroline's focused determination to win carried her to an impressive victory," shared her coaches. "She showed a lot of grit in her matches!"
