Club Fair Showcases Variety of Student Clubs & Organizations

By Lexi H. ’23, Activities Committee Head

This year, students met on the Sally B. Courtyard outside the Athletic/Student Center for the club fair. Tables for each club lined the patio where students browsed, learned about, and signed up to be a part of various student-run organizations.
During the fair, students and faculty enjoyed a cookout served by the Dining Hall, snow cones from the Athletic Association, and cotton candy from the Activities Committee. Each club also offered activities for attendees. Donkey Club hosted pin the tail on the donkey (sadly, Demi and Nod didn’t make an appearance) and Model UN had a geography game, while Robotics Club showed off one of their latest robots.

As always, the purpose of the event is to introduce the impressive group of clubs and activities at Foxcroft and to encourage students, especially those new to the school, to get involved. The offerings cover almost every interest, concern, and skill one could think of, from the Art and Spanish clubs to the Beekeeping and Sustainability clubs. Clubs that reflect the community’s diversity and global outlook were also represented at the fair. These include Global Cultures, We the People, Black Student Union, Chinese Language and Culture Club, and Hand in Hand. In addition, several new clubs participated, including the Book Club, e-Sports Club, Menstrual Equity Club, and Photography Club.

It was an impressive and inviting array, and we look forward to seeing what the clubs do throughout the school year!

Thank you to the Activities Committee, Athletic Association, Office of Student Life, and of course, the clubs for organizing a fun and informative evening!
