Foxcroft Riders Spring into Action with Great Results at First Post-winter Show!

Several Foxcroft riders attended the first show in a series of Morven Summer Series competitions held in Leesburg, VA, this past Saturday. With the facility open for schooling on Friday before the actual competition day on Saturday, this show was the perfect opportunity to get out and about again after spending the winter working on foundational skills. The riders did a great job preparing their horses on Friday and figured out what they needed to do to help their horses be focused and ready on show day.
When Saturday came, all of the riders and horses were dialed in and performed consistently and competitively throughout their classes. With riders contesting the hunter divisions and several heights in the jumper ring, there was a lot of action to follow and the Foxcroft trainers were steadily going from ring to ring to train riders and horses. When all was said and done, the group finished the day bringing home a lot of great ribbons, including three Reserve Championship titles, and an idea of what the next steps toward their goals will look like.   • Patty A. ’25 & Trending — 2nd & 3rd over fences & 4th undersaddle in the 2'6" Children's Hunters
  • AM C. ’25 & Pavolina — 2nd & 3rd over fences & 3rd undersaddle in the Long Stirrup Hunters. RESERVE CHAMPION 
  • Irene B. ’24 & Pablo — 3rd in the Modified Jumpers at 1.10m
  • Georgia R. ’22 & Corrado — 2nd & 2nd in the Mini Jumpers at .80m. RESERVE CHAMPION
  • Sage W. ’23 & Blue Star — 4th in the Mini Jumpers at .80m 
  • Subira K. ’25 & Caspian 4 — 6th in the Low Jumpers at .90m 
  • Cierra C. ’25 & Generosa MK — 1st & 1st in the Child/Adult Jumpers at 1.0m. RESERVE CHAMPION
