A Forest of Colors at the Junior Class Walk

From Johanna B. ’23, Junior Class President

The Class of 2023 gratefully acknowledges all the donors and participants for the Color Walk last Friday, March 25. The Junior Class has elected to support the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS), a local organization founded in 1984 to provide a safe haven for survivors of all ages who have experienced domestic violence. LAWS also provides legal services, advocacy, training, and several other outreach programs.
The walk took place on one of Foxcroft’s new forest trails that junior Helen V. mapped and marked with several students in the Engineering class. Fellow juniors with bottles of colored powder splashed the willing walkers as they went around the trail.

As of today, the Junior Class has received 58 donations totaling almost $6,000, which has exceeded our goal! Thank you to everyone for your generous contributions by way of time and funding to LAWS. If you want to continue to support LAWS, please use the link below to donate before April 4, 2022.
