The Foxcroft School IEA team was back at it at Meadowbrook Stables in Chevy Chase, MD, this past Saturday, November 13. It was a large horse show with 10 teams competing in the upper school classes, including several teams from outside of our region. In the face of a challenging heat, Foxcroft was calm, cool, and consistent, with each of our nine riders earning ribbons in their respective classes.
Claire M. ’24 started off the day posting points in both her JV Novice classes with a pair of 4th place finishes. The JV Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter riders impressed their teammates with two top 3 finishes from AM C. ’25 and Meredith K. ’23.
Our roll continued heading into the Intermediate and Open classes to finish up the day. Lexi H. ’23 and Sierra J. ’22 each earned a top 3 placing over fences in the Intermediate division and Lexi rode on to a 3rd place finish on the flat. Gracie R. ’24 was the winner in both of her Open classes, giving us the edge we needed to top the scoreboard.
