Foxcroft Falls in Final Regular Season Home Match

Foxcroft varsity played some nice volleyball this evening, but ultimately the Highland Hawks proved to be too tough this time around. In the first set, Highland pulled out to an early 3-13 lead, but Foxcroft battled back to make the final set score 13-25. Foxcroft had a stronger showing in the second set, bringing the score to 14-14 before losing 19-25. They could not quite figure out serve receive in the third set, which allowed Highland to string together two long service opportunities and cruise to a 9-25 final score.

The Foxcroft attack looked good again this evening, powered by the attacks of senior captains Adair S. and Elizabeth S. Junior Kat W. recorded several blocks against the attacks of Highland's powerful middle blocker. Mimi W. '24 and Cassie C. '22 both had good showings as setters.

Foxcroft's final match of the regular season will be Friday, 28 Oct, at Tandem Friends. In accordance with Tandem's Covid protocols, Foxcroft fans will not be allowed to attend.
