Leave a Legacy

Did you know that the third week of October has been designated as National Estate Planning Awareness Week? Established in 2008 by House Resolution 1499, National Estate Planning Awareness Week was created for the purpose of educating everyone about the importance and benefits of estate planning.

What you may ask, does this have to do with me?
Have you ever wanted to give back to Foxcroft in honor of your lifelong friends or your experience or because you love the School, but financially, you are unable to do so at this time? Giving a gift through your estate enables you to design a legacy that is meaningful to you and will make a strong impact on the future of the School, without affecting your current financial situation.

Planned gifts may be made through a bequest in your will, through your retirement account, with your life insurance policy, your real estate, or through a planned giving vehicle such as a charitable remainder trust. We invite you to learn more about planned giving by perusing the information on our website and in our brochure Your Legacy/Our Future, and to consider joining fellow alumnae and parents in our legacy society, Forever Foxcroft, by making a planned gift to the School.

While you should always consult your financial advisor or attorney when making estate plans, we are happy to provide whatever assistance we can. Please reach out to the Office of Institutional Advancement at advancement@foxcroft.org or 540-687-4510.
