Alumnae Workshop Event

Dr. Marcia Chatelain, Distinguished Associate Professor of history and African American studies at Georgetown University, will present a workshop for alumnae about maintaining institutional values and moving forward to create a more diverse and equitable future.
"How We Make a Difference: Taking the Steps for Sustainable Change” is an interactive presentation about how we harness our passion and energy to transform our communities into actionable steps. Based on vignettes in history, the presentation will isolate the key attributes of successful efforts to preserve institutional values, while ensuring change and growth are possible in order to create a more diverse and equitable future.

Dr. Chatelain will offer new information and frameworks to provide leadership and guidance to familiar places and trusted people in the Foxcroft community. The workshop will also cover topics like: communication strategies, supporting communities through change processes, and how to share our visions.
