Three Foxcroft Singers Participate in the Loudoun County All-District Chorus Concert

Over the weekend of February 7-8, Anna B. ’21, Eunice Y. ’21, and Finy Z. '22 sang in the 2020 Loudoun County All-District Chorus Concert at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville. This was the second consecutive time Finy and Anna have been selected to participate, while Eunice was taking part in the event for the first time. The girls were among more than 400 students who successfully auditioned to participate in all-day workshops and perform in various ensembles during the event.
Our students were placed in the Treble Ensemble (SSAA) and Mixed Ensemble (SATB). The SSAA guest director/conductor was Dr. Jason Vodicka. He is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at Westminster Choir College at Rider University in Princeton, NJ. The SATB guest director/conductor was Dr. Ryan Beeken who is an Associate Professor of Choral Studies and Director of Choral Activities at Wichita State University.

Congratulations to the girls and Foxcroft Chorale Director, Music Coordinator Amy Asbury!
