Seniors Kenzie G. and Mimi S. Named National Merit Commended Scholars

On Friday, October 25 during Morning Meeting, Head of School Cathy McGehee announced our students who qualified in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. Roughly 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are recognized for their exceptional academic promise. They place among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. This year, Foxcroft is pleased to recognize seniors Kenzie G. and Mimi S. as National Merit Commended Scholars.
“Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success,” commented a spokesperson for NMSC. “We are very proud of Kenzie’s and Mimi’s accomplishments on the PSAT as well as their academic achievement as students at Foxcroft,” said McGehee. “They challenge themselves in the courses they pursue, but more importantly, they bring a true love of learning and curiosity that benefits all students at Foxcroft.”
