Foxcroft holds on to edge John Paul the Great

Nia D. '22 led the scoring off with a goal four minutes into the game. Betsy A. '21 added a second goals two minutes later. The Wolves answered back with a goal of their own 3 minutes later.  Lucy M. '23 scored right before the half to give Foxcroft a 3-1 lead going into halftime.  Betsy A. put her 2nd goal of the day into the net 12 minutes into the second half to give Foxcroft a 4-1 lead.  The 2 teams went back and forth for most of the second half peppering each other's goalies.  JPG put 2 quick goals in with a minute and a half left in the game to bring the score to 4-3.  The Foxcroft defense held strong and finished with the win.  Liz J. '20 had 15 saves and Julia G. '21 had 5 saves. Allie M. '20 had 2 assists.
