Looking Ahead at the Foxcroft Riding Calendar

Foxcroft riders are saddling up for a busy year starting with some early fall shows, including the Middleburg Classic and the Piedmont Jumper Classic, coming up later this month and a number of Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) horse shows on the docket for September and October including two hosted by Foxcroft.
IEA shows at Foxcroft for Zone 3 Region 3 are scheduled for Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, at the School's Jean duPont McConnell Stables and Riding Arena. Started in 2002, the IEA is the largest scholastic competition for young riders with more than 13,500 members in 42 states across North America. Foxcroft became a member in 2010. For the 2019-2020 season, the Foxcroft IEA team will have approximately 20 members.

This fall, 59 students are participating in Foxcroft's riding program. Of those, 27 are new girls, and 14 also compete in another sport.
