Team Sparkles in Season Opener

Foxcroft put on an overpowering performance in its season opener, defeating John Paul the Great, 9-0, at home.

The girls had only one close match, at No. 2 double where Victoria V. '20 and Maddy W. '20 squeezed out a 9-8 victory. Otherwise, it was complete domination as Foxcroft won all six singles matches and the other two doubles by decisive scores.

Sophomores Gigi G. and Carleigh L., a new girl, won their doubles match, 8-0, and the No. 3 doubles team of Hako I. '21 and Leah N. '22 won their match, 8-4. 

In singles, Gigi and Carleigh each won their match by scores of 8-3, VIctoria posted an 8-0 triumph in her match at No. 3, Maddy was an 8-1 winner at No. 4, Hako won, 8-2, at No. 5 and Leah came out ahead, 8-5, at No.6.,
