The seniors came through for Foxcroft on Senior Day.
Loren S. had nine steals, Ify N. had seven rebounds and six points and Leah S. scored on a driving layup with just under a minute to play to stave off a rally by Randolph-Macon Academy and give Foxcroft a 28-25 victory in Engelhard Gym.
Foxcroft led by nine points, 22-13, after three quarters but R-MA cut the lead to one point
with 1:14 remaining. Leah then caught a pass on the right side of the basket and drove to the basket for a layup to seal the victory.
Junior Allie M. led Foxcroft with eight points and freshman Elizabeth S. had 11 rebounds -- her second game in a row with double figures and the fourth time this season she has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in a game.
