Seton Gives Foxcroft Some (3) Pointers

Seton School is very much a modern day basketball team. The Lady Conquistadores are in love with the 3-point shot and it is faithful to them.

Seton, ranked No. 3 in VISAA Division II, connected on 10 3-point shots and crushed Foxcroft, 76-23, in Manassas.

When the Lady Conquistadores weren't hitting 3-pointers they were running a fast break that resulted in about a dozen easy baskets. Foxcroft had trouble rebounding against its taller and more aggressive opponent and the game was pretty much decided in the first quarter when Seton broke to a 22-7 lead after eight minutes. Seton boosted its lead to 43-13 at the half before coach Dick Pennefather liberally went to his bench.

Junior Allie M. led Foxcroft with a team season-high 12 points and freshman Adair S. pulled down six rebounds.
