Team Cracks 20-Point Barrier for First Time

Foxcroft went with its young players for most of the game and was able to crack the 20-point barrier for the first time in a 41-23 loss to Middleburg Academy.

Three freshmen and a sophomore received much of the playing time against a bigger and faster opponents and the young players fought hard for every rebound and loose ball.

For the second game in a row the Stanley twins, freshmen Elizabeth and Adair, led the way. Elizabeth had eight points and 12 rebounds -- her second game in a row with double figures in rebounds -- and Adair had seven points and eight rebounds. Elizabeth also had four blocked shots while Adair added a pair of assists.
