Spanish 4 embarked on a project about a diverse group of trailblazing women from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world. Each of us had to research a specific woman who had an impact on society and broke certain barriers and/or stereotypes. In addition to learning about her life, we had to "become" her.
Last Friday we dressed up as our pioneer woman, made sure that we knew as much as possible about who she was and what she had accomplished, and were ready to act like her. Sra. Sánchez provided food and music for our party, to which we invited students and faculty to get to know these amazing women. The room was packed!
Spanish 4 would like to thank everyone who came to support us, ask questions, and learn more about our characters. The whole class had a great time and we loved sharing our stories.
