As Communications Manager, Bethany shares her experience working in online marketing, design, photography, and technology with Foxcroft’s Institutional Advancement Department. She enjoys sharing the Foxcroft experience through electronic newsletters, the School's various social media outlets, including Facebook
, and LinkedIn
. She recently led efforts to launch Vidigami, the School’s new media management tool, and served as project lead for the most recent redesign of the School's website. Her work often involves collaborating with various departments across the School, presenting ample opportunities to tell Foxcroft's story boldly and proudly from an authentic perspective.
In addition to her office duties, Bethany has been involved in a variety of activities at Foxcroft. She is currently a member of the Orchard Dorm team and advisor to the student-led Photography Club. For three years, she coached the Varsity Soccer team. She was involved in Wintermission for several years, offering students the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua for a community service trip in 2010 and co-teaching art classes in 2011 and 2012.
Bethany holds an MBA from the University of New Hampshire, earned through the university’s accelerated one-year program, where her interest in marketing began. She also earned a BA in Studio Art from UNH, designing independent studies in watercolor painting and architecture and studying abroad in Italy over a three year period. Before coming to Foxcroft, she was a Program Director for an outdoor education center in Clifton, VA, where she had the opportunity to work with private schools (including Foxcroft!) to design overnight retreats for their students and managed the website and email campaigns.
In her free time, Bethany enjoys reading, baking, knitting, and spending time outdoors. A native Mainer, she will always cheer for the Red Sox and Patriots. And yes, she does love lobster and blueberries.
Bethany and her husband, Daniel, were married in Miss Charlotte's Garden in June 2014. They welcomed their daughter, Juniper, in February 2019. The Stotler family lives on campus with their collie, Honeybird.
