CoachJodi Campbell joined Foxcroft as Dean of Students in July 2022. Ms. Campbell has outstanding experience working with girls in boarding schools. She comes to Foxcroft from The Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN, where she served as Director of Social, Emotional, and Academic Development. In this role, she developed and oversaw an SEL-based advisory program; implemented DEI initiatives, mediation programs to address student conflicts, and leadership programs; coordinated all student clubs and affinity groups; and created wellness lessons, among many initiatives. She was Head of the middle school girls’ dormitory as well as a member of the history department.
Prior to The Webb School, she was Academic Dean and Director of College Counseling at Squaw Valley Academy in Olympic Valley, CA, where she also taught social studies. Her previous teaching experiences span high school and college-level courses at Sage Ridge School (Reno, NV); Wesley College (Dover, DE); and The University of Guelph (Ontario).
Ms. Campbell earned a B.A. in Early American History from Dickinson College, an M.A. in British history, with a certificate in Museum studies, from University of Delaware, and a Ph.D. (ABD) in history from University of Guelph. A life-long learner, she continues her studies and professional development having earned a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and a certificate in Social Emotional and Character Development from Rutgers University. She has attended many programs in mindfulness, responsive classrooms, successful advisories, and navigating social media and technology positively.
She and her dog Sassafras (a “spoiled min-pin mix rescue”) are glad to be back on the East Coast where they are closer to her family in Delaware. She loves to travel and is always planning her next trip, reading historical fiction, or cheering on the Yankees. -
CoachRhea Hyatt joined our team as Associate Director of Admissions in January 2023. Mr. Hyatt is no stranger to boarding schools, having attended and worked at The Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN, where from 2016-2022, he was an admissions counselor and then Assistant Director of Admissions. His responsibilities included student recruitment and travel, serving as a member of the admissions and financial aid committees, and coordinating the visit experience for prospective students. He also oversaw the student ambassador program. Mr. Hyatt lived in a dorm, was an academic advisor, and was an assistant coach for boys and girls lacrosse. Most recently, he worked as a Graduate Admissions Specialist at the University of Tennessee, where he reviewed applications and was the main point of contact for graduate admissions policy for students. He is eager to return to working closely with students and families in the admission process and is excited to be at Foxcroft.
