Standardized testing is less about "yes or no" in the admissions process and more about a benchmark for measuring progress over time. Incoming 9th and 10th graders are required to submit SSAT scores, while incoming 11th and 12th graders are required to submit SAT/ACT scores.

Applicants without testing must register to take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) at www.ssat.org. Our SSAT Code is 3250.

Application Checklist

To be considered for admission to Foxcroft School, international applicants must provide:

An online application (with parent and student questionnaires, an essay, and an application fee of $150 USD)
TOEFL (Foxcroft code 1864) or IELTS scores.
SSAT (Foxcroft code 3250) scores (optional).
Academic transcript (current year and two prior years)
Recommendations from Math and English-language teachers
Interview (in-person or Zoom)

What is Early Entry?

Early entry is an opportunity to start high school early by “skipping” eighth grade year to get a jump start on advanced coursework and college preparation. Students who qualify are invited to begin in the boarding program at Foxcroft as a ninth grader, taking a full course load of freshman-level classes.

The program offers a four-year or five-year option as students and families acclimate to the school and community.
