Family Partnership

Family Partnership

Foxcroft believes that the most effective education and personal development of its students emanates from a strong partnership between the School and families. To foster a positive environment of learning and growth, the School strives to develop a collaborative relationship with each student’s family. Foxcroft values the support and involvement of families who provide valuable feedback aiding student growth and development.

Conversely, when a family’s involvement with the School becomes counterproductive with the School or its mission, and after attempting to work through remedies or solutions without success, the School may determine that the relationship is not in the best interest of the School or the student. If a family repeatedly or seriously violates a School policy or procedure—or engages in inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, or harassing behavior toward the School, its students, or its employees—the School may take action to restrict the family’s access to School activities or property. At the discretion of the Head of School, the School may also impose other corrective action based on the nature of the family’s conduct and surrounding circumstances, including the student of the family at issue not being invited to return to the School or being dismissed from the School during the academic year.
