New Family Social was Fun and Informative for All!

New Family Social was Fun and Informative for All!

Last Sunday, July 14, Foxcroft welcomed students, parents, guardians, and friends to campus for the annual New Family Social!

Together with the Admission Office, Head of School Cathy McGehee welcomed families who gathered in Roomies to get to know administrators and members of the Student Life team, as well as one another. Incoming students met several returning student leaders and enjoyed games facilitated by the Office of Student Life, including an icebreaker game and a rousing rendition of “Fox, Fox, Hound” (think Foxcroft’s version of “Duck, Duck, Goose”) which got girls moving and laughing.

Everyone reconvened in the gym, sharing conversation, charcuterie, and beverages. The afternoon concluded with informal games of cornhole, pickleball, ping pong, and axe throwing.

We are excited to "SEE" all our new families again at the Zoom meet-up on August 6!
