Five Performing Arts Students Nominated for Glamies Awards

This year, Foxcroft was nominated in seven categories:

• Anila S. ’25 for Best Comedic Actor and Best Costumes
• Cam F. ’27 for Dramaturgy (the theory and practice of dramatic composition)
• Katt G. ’27 for Cameo
• Aradeal H. ’26 for the play’s Makeup and Wigs
• Manabi K. ’25 for Set Design & Stagecraft and Marketing & Publicity

The results will be announced during the upcoming Blue Ridge Glamies Gala at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, VA, on Wednesday, May 28, at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. View the evening’s schedule.

As part of the Gala’s programming, The Dining Room cast members Anna C. ’25, Anila S. ’25, Raven L. ’26, ZoraNelle B. ’26, Katarina S. ’26, Sonja K. ’26, Poppy M. ’27, Fiona J. ’27, Cam F. ’27, Cata AC. ’27, Katt G. ’27, Kacy D. ’28, and Saoirse C-G. ’28 will perform the play’s Birthday Party scene. Tech team members who will attend are Manabi K. ’25 (Lead Critic for Foxcroft), who will present an award; Raven L. ’26, who has been chosen as one of the Gala Emcees; and Stage Managers Lauren G. ’26 and Josephine K ’27. 

The Blue Ridge Glamies Gala closes the year with glamour and excitement, showcasing the best of high school theater. The Glamies is a writing and awards program that trains high school theater and journalism students to be expert writers, critical thinkers, and leaders. Theater and journalism students are trained as critics and attend each other's shows.
