Five Athletes from Varsity Basketball and Swimming Receive All-GPAC Honors!

Foxcroft’s Varsity Basketball and Swim teams each had athletes receive All-Greater Piedmont Athletic Conference (GPAC) honors, with Swim achieving GPAC Runners Up at the Championship Meet and sending one swimmer to the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) State Swim Meet.

Varsity Swim

In a stellar second season, Varsity Swim saw three swimmers receive First Team All-GPAC honors and one swimmer qualify for two events at the VISAA State Meet.

All-GPAC First Team honors went to sophomore Cadey P. and juniors Connelly R. and Rianna S.

Rianna also qualified for the VISAA State Swim Meet in both the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly, ultimately achieving 9th place in the 50-meter freestyle out of more than 100 swimmers.

Varsity Basketball

Capping a hard-fought season, Varsity Basketball had two players receive All-GPAC recognition.

All-GPAC First Team honors went to senior Rachel V. and Honorable Mention for freshman Caitlin M.
