Fall Open House Highlights What Makes Our Community Special

Fall Open House Highlights What Makes Our Community Special

On Monday, November 10, Foxcroft School welcomed prospective families from near and far to our annual Fall Open House.

The day began with campus tours led by CAPs, our student ambassadors, and a vibrant Morning Meeting that showcased our community. With performances from the Soggie Cheerios, a presentation on new flags representing our international students, and reflections in honor of Veterans Day, guests experienced firsthand the joy and authenticity of Foxcroft’s daily life.

Visiting students participated in two engaging activities led by Ms. Mora ‘95 and Dr. Anderson with support from Dr. de Denus, while parents attended two panels moderated by Head of School Dr. Lisa Kaenzig and members of our faculty and staff, offering an inside look at our academic programs, learning support, and student and residential life.

Families reunited for a vibrant lunch and mini club fair in the Leipheimer Gym. With the full school community present, visitors enjoyed lively conversations, playful activities, and warm hospitality, complete with fresh donut bites from Mama’s Donut Bites, a returning favorite among students and guests alike.

The afternoon offered optional student interviews and a hard-hat tour of Foxcroft’s forthcoming Mars STEAM Building. Families who joined the tour enjoyed an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the construction progress and learned how this transformational space will elevate hands-on learning and innovation for years to come.

"You put together a perfect event with a great snapshot of what is possible at Foxcroft while highlighting the very spirit that makes your school special. Thank you," shared an attendee in the post-event survey.

We look forward to welcoming many of these families back to campus soon and are grateful for the opportunity to share the power, promise, and joy of Foxcroft School.
