Class Dinners at Covert: A Cherished Tradition

Class Dinners at Covert: A Cherished Tradition

Every year, during the opening weeks of school, the Head of School hosts a dinner at Covert for each class. This is a cherished tradition that all look forward to.

As one of many 'lasts' for the Senior Class this year, Dr. Kaenzig’s final dinner for them last Sunday brought reflections from two students.

“This tradition is very special because it gives us a chance to spend quality time as a Class and get to know the Head of School better. This one in particular was special because it was the last one, and I will miss this Class and school so much next year.” – Michaela W. ’27

“I think the class dinners at Covert are important because they help bring our Class together as a whole. They also give us a chance to get to know Dr. Kaenzig better and have meaningful conversations outside of the usual school setting. I think it’s a nice tradition that helps create a stronger sense of community within our Class.” – Rianna S. ’27

The remaining classes will be hosted at Covert on the following days:

  • Sunday, September 6: Junior Class, 6pm
  • Monday, September 7: Freshman Class, 6pm
  • Sunday, September 13: Sophomore Class, 6pm
