Arts Week Science Photography Contest Winners Capture Stunning Shots

Arts Week Science Photography Contest Winners Capture Stunning Shots

Last Friday, during Morning Meeting, the beautiful results of collaboration between two academic areas — fine arts and science — were highlighted when Director of STEAM Education and Fine Arts Department Chair Julie Fisher and STEAM teacher Dr. Meghen Tuttle announced the winners of this year’s Science Photography Contest.

For the sixth year, the annual Science Photography Contest invited student and faculty photographers to showcase their talents. In addition to our regular category, this year’s bonus category was “Girl Energy.” All of the submissions were on display during Arts Week, and everyone in the community had the opportunity to vote for their favorites. The winners will have their work on permanent display throughout campus.

Congratulations to the following winners for their beautiful photographs.

  • Microscopic Views — Ellie W. ’27
  • Science in Motion — Gracie J. ’28
