Goose Creek Clean-up: Important to Our Campus and Community

By Chelsie E. ’22

Earlier this month, Foxcroft students had the opportunity to help the Goose Creek Association with a clean-up event. Goose Creek is especially important to the school community because it runs directly through our campus. Furthermore, this was important to Foxcroft since service is one of our school’s core values. For me, I was very eager to help out and contribute to keeping the creek clean and healthy.
After several hours and a few tumbles into the creek, we managed to fill several bags full of trash and even collected nine tires! I am very fortunate to live on such a beautiful campus. Acts of service such as this not only allow the campus to remain in good condition but also all of the other places that Goose Creek runs through.
