Walking for a Cause: The Junior Class Walk

A message from the Junior Class Walk Officers

Our Junior Class Walk to support Martha’s Table is fast approaching! We are looking for your support in raising funds to donate to this amazing group.

On Friday, March 29, the community will come together for the annual Junior Class Walk. As a tradition, many Junior classes have worked together to raise awareness as well as thousands of dollars for their chosen cause. The Class of 2020 has chosen Martha’s Table, a non-profit organization located in D.C, as the beneficiary of this year's Walk.
Martha’s Table truly believes that every child as well as every family deserves opportunity. It is for this reason that Martha’s Table has made it their mission to support families and aid children throughout their educational careers by providing food, clothing, and educational programs for over 37 years.

As Foxcroft students, we are so lucky to receive such a quality education; therefore, we want to pass this gift on to other children by supporting Martha’s Table. The Class is looking forward to starting a partnership with Martha’s Table that allows our students to help and connect with this group for many years to come.

The event, which begins at 3:30pm at the Athletic/Student Center on Friday, March 29, features a color run across campus. Refreshing drinks and delicious baked goods will be available as well. It is also fun and meaningful to wear the Junior Class Walk T-Shirt designed by the Junior Class Walk.

Donations and contributions are greatly appreciated. You can make a donation online, or with cash or check. (Please make checks out to “Martha’s Table” — not Foxcroft.) Click here to donate online. Please indicate “Foxcroft Class of 2020” in the box labled “I want my donation to be dedicated.” Check the box that says “please send an acknowledgment...dedicating my donation” and choose “send email acknowledgment” using Mr. Northrup's email address: alex.northrup@foxcroft.org.

Thank you for your love,
The Junior Class
