You're Invited! Open Houses scheduled by Admission Office

Prospective students and their families can learn about the Foxcroft School’s innovative curriculum, outstanding riding program, and growing plant as well as meet students and teachers on Monday, Oct. 8 when the School holds its first Admission Open House, Director of Admission and Financial Aid Gina B. Finn announced recently.
Those interested may register for the open house online or by calling 540.687.4340. Space is limited so sign up early! Additional Open Houses will be held Friday, Dec. 7 and Friday, Jan. 18. Families are also welcome to schedule visits at other times.
Spurred by major grants from several foundations and a mission to educate girls for the 21st century, Foxcroft has developed an innovative core science curriculum, fine-tuned its outstanding mathematics program and introduced Engineering, computer programming and “STEM” (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) courses.

The School also broke ground on a new dormitory in July, the first step in an initiative that will update all the residential buildings to enhance the living spaces for both students and faculty families. In excess of 80 percent of the Foxcrof faculty live on campus and days students also have rooms and beds, creating an outstanding sense of community that nurtures and inspires students.

During Foxcroft’s Admission Open Houses students and parents will have an opportunity to thoroughly explore the School. They may attend classes, Morning Meeting, and meals with students, as well as being able to ask questions at student and faculty panels. Tours of the campus and admission interviews also are available
